The SMT Blackout Relay module is a IP67 rated relay module with 6 independently controlled relays designed to support functionality on modified civilian and tactical vehicles. The relay module is available in multiple configurations and ideally suited to support blackout functionality, IR control or ancillary system control.
Using the relay module allows for complete system control such as diversion of brake light signals between normal and IR lights. The system is used extensively on modified civilian tactical vehicles for blackout system control.
3 Standard Configurations
The modules are available with all relays in a Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed (NC) or 5x Normally Closed, 1x Normally Open (NC, R4 NO) state. Bespoke configurations can also be supplied.
Robust IP67 Enclosure
Encased in a shockproof IP67 enclosure with DTM connectors the modules are suited to a wide range of installation locations.
36A Current Capacity
Each relay offers a maximum 6A continuous current limit delivering a total module capacity of 36A.
Delivers Integrated Functionality
Independent relay control allows for up to 6 channels to be controlled individually or concurrently supporting advanced functionality features of high load automotive systems.
