Designed to support specialist military applications the SMT CDU is a fully configurable multi-function display unit. Capable of providing information to the driver and commander switchable between visible light, blackout and IR for night vision compatibility.
SMT’s latest generation CDU (not shown) is IP67 rated and supports all forms of CAN as well as multiple I/O options. Providing a configurable page display the CDU can be used for RPM, Speed, Gear, Trip, Warnings (configurable), Battery voltage monitoring (primary and secondary) plus many more making it an ideal replacement to the standard vehicle dashboard. Standard Fitting
Fits within a standard single DIN socket the CDU can be fitted to most base vehicles making it a perfect option for Civilian Armoured Vehicles (CAVs). IP67 rating means it can also be fitted to open architecture and tactical vehicles.
Multi-Function Display
Fully configurable pages mean the CDU can support any vehicle platform and display just the data you need.
IR Switchable
Switchable between visible and IR modes. The CDU can be configured into a vehicles existing IR system or operated by separate buttons.
Automatic Gearbox
Configured to support Automatic gearboxes the CDU can display selected gear removing the need for a separate gear display. The CDU will also report gearbox and engine modes such as Sport.
12V & 24V Compatible
SMT’s CDU is fully compatible with both 12 and 24V electrical architectures making it highly versatile against most common vehicle architectures.
